Here is your degree

Got it for you and not for me

Deadlines, exams and stress

You said it was for the best

I hope I'm finally free

Now I got you a precious degree

Wish I could work on my craft

Wish I didn't have this overdraft

Wish I didn't have student loans

Singing this song to make it known

I didn't want to go to university

Here is your degree

An award conferred by my university

Isolated, tired and depressed

Was the degree worth my distress

Am I finally worthy

Do I tick your box of acceptability?
