I Seek Out Your Art

The generous souls. With world building goals. I live for you. I seek you out. You energise me. Let's us find each other.

This poem is dedicated to marginalised people all over the world, that may not have the heart for self-promo and marketing but still have stories, art and self expression to share.

I live for the eccentrics

I love the rebels

I'm drawn to the freaks

Thank you to the wild ones

The loud ones

The quiet ones

The somewhere in between, depends who's around ones

I feel the feelers

The ones that take it all to heart

The sensitive souls

The sad singers

The confused lovers

The extremists

The freedom fighters

The seers

And the givers

The generous souls

With world building goals

I live for you

I seek you out

You energise me

Let's us find each other

I love you

Come closer

Let's rebel together

Let's shake off the chains of gender

Can we question the professional activists?

Can we undo colonisation together?

Can we leave capitalism and it's rules at the door?

Will you dance with me?

Can we teach each other to unpack, process and practice confronting our learned anti-blackness?

Can we seriously sit down and draw the comparisons between ableism and fatphobia?

Can share indigenous wisdom with each other?

Can we work together to protect those more vulnerable than us?

Can we use our power for our wacky dreams instead using it to compete and dominate?

This poem is our fate

I'm Love, Builder of Worlds

I seek out your art

Thank you for existing

See you soon

image Description

A variety of pens and pencils packed together tightly against a black background. They are likely in a small cup, but that is not pictured.

More for marginalised people:
Self Acceptance and ADHD
If we compare other peoples skills, whether that be their ability with time, executive function or attentiveness it can be easy to reject our own qualities.
The Future Is
“The Future Is” is a prediction, a prayer and a promise.
Keep Dancing - Poem
I was inspired by the freeness of their movements how they reacted to music so organically. I modified the poem for my shielding siblings, my disabled siblings and immunocompromised siblings to encourage them to keep dancing if they have the ability to.
Burnout, Covid & Community Care
The consequences of all these calamities happening at once, is that everyone becomes not only burnt out, but shifts into an “auto-pilot” state.
Courage - Poem by Love, Builder of Worlds
Courage, a poem by Love, Builder of Worlds is about speaking up and having the courage to share your truth.
I write for myself
I write for my feelings I write to be soothed I write to the moon I write to you
