If I didn't do nothing forever.

And there's going to still be annoying people at work. But the world would be accessible to everyone. Workers would eat the fruits of their labour. Without shareholders. But shared with the people who can't, won't, don't, refuse, decide not to work.

If I didn't do nothing forever.

This poem is dedicated to all my disabled friends, siblings and lovers. I love you so much and wish nothing but resources, rest and play.

If I didn't do nothing for the rest of my life

I would still be enough

Deserving of dignity, safety, love, attention and respect.

And freedom.

Freedom not like you know

Freedom like 100% harm reduction

Freedom like a world scourged of ableism

Freedom to do as I please

Regardless

Because whatever it is

It will be accessible to all

Regardless

Always

Continuously

Constantly increasingly

A universe of accessibility

Universal accessibility if you like

Freedom like

Worker owned co-ops pushing the limits

Using all our efforts to make the entire world

Entirely safe

For every single last person

Every single last person

Regardless of what they did or didn't do

Deserve accessibility

Space ever expanding

Ever reducing harm

Not interpersonal conflict

Not mistakes

But 100% harm as in abuse.

As in abuse is simply not tolerated

And abuse is to us as drilling holes in peoples head to cure a headache

Absolutely unthinkable

Like a big fat

Eh no.

No, we don't do that anymore

No, we are committed to ending social hierarchies

That's not the wave

We don't determine peoples worth by their assimilation into the mono culture

That's really disgusting

It always leads to fascism

And fascism is pure evil

So we don't lynch trans women

We don't abuse elderly people

We don't traumatised disable children with conversion therapy.

No no no

You just don't do them tings

That kind of freedom

When you're not concerned about physical violence

Like literally at any given moment

You know its highly unlikely because

Ew

Freedom won't be free of disputes and disagreements

Neighbours will still argue over land

Teenagers will still be like that during puberty

And there's going to still be annoying people at work

But the world would be accessible to everyone

Workers would eat the fruits of their labour

Without shareholders

But shared with the people who can't, won't, don't, refuse, decide not to work.

Resources are shared equally

Regardless

Regardless

Whether I did everything or nothing at all

Because person existing

Existence is enough

By my sheer existence

I am deserving of dignity, safety, love, attention and respect.

And freedom.

Burnout, Covid & Community Care
The consequences of all these calamities happening at once, is that everyone becomes not only burnt out, but shifts into an “auto-pilot” state.
Need not want
I need my community to learn more about disability justice, fatphobia and colonialism.

Thoughts about uniformity - Essay by Love, Builder of Worlds
“Uniformity sucks and we must first resist it in our minds. Only nothing is for everyone.”
