If love was a popular movement

If love was a popular movement. There would be no nuclear codes, lieutenants or drone strike orders. If love was a popular movement. Hunger would vanish. We'd have clean sustainable energy.

Image Description

Yellow autumnal leaves in the shape of a heart on a reflective black surface that looks like a car.

James Baldwin would have written 101 queer black stories

There would be no passports, visas or borders

If love was a popular movement

There would be no nuclear codes, lieutenants or drone strike orders

If love was a popular movement

Hunger would vanish

We'd have clean sustainable energy

Police-free restorative justice would be practised far and wide

If love was a popular movement

We would all have clean water, free healthcare and free shelter

If love was a popular movement

We would take care of the most vulnerable people

If love was a popular movement

Hierarchy would cease

If love was a popular movement

No impairment would be a disability

The fruits of our labor shared equally

If love was a popular movement

There'd be no celebrities

If love was a popular movement

The nuclear family wouldn't exist

Our lives would be organised around protecting the most vulnerable people

Private property would be a relic of the past

If only love was a popular movement

Let's make love a popular movement

Burnout, Covid & Community Care
The consequences of all these calamities happening at once, is that everyone becomes not only burnt out, but shifts into an “auto-pilot” state.
Need not want
I need my community to learn more about disability justice, fatphobia and colonialism.
After the dust settles
Build an accessible world Build a world without the threat of violence We build love After the dust settles
Beauty according to who?
Beautiful power, beautiful violence and beautiful domination Beauty is cruel And sinister Self loathing Insecure And dehumanizing A complex and tortuous hierarchy
Addiction to white thoughts
We wait for them to save us To betray us Despite the way they have mentally drained us
