Waxes and wanes

Waxes and wanes

I'm a (tropical) Leo and when I was doing Romance™️, I would fall so hard so quick. The spark I felt for people would burn so hot and bright at first but often disappeared very quickly. Novelty is always worthwhile to me so no matter if it was only one night, one conversation, one dance, one glance, it was beautiful while it lasted.

Image Description

A melted white candle.

My love for you waxes and wanes
Its smaller with each day
It's not a love here to stay
It's not built to last
No one to blame
It waxes and wanes
Dimmer and dimmer
Shaking and shivering
Hot fire to a timid simmering
A special connection
Withering and dithering
It was beautiful while it lasted

Seeking difference
An unlikely match up. Doomed to fail. The familiarity of failure. And unrequited love. That’s what turns me on.
What did I do?
